In the period from 24.11 to 26.11.2014 in the garrison in Tetovo training on “Fight in urban environment” with members of the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (3MIB) from the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade was conducted. Earlier the same training was conducted with officers of the basic units of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion (4MIB).
The training began with general theoretical regulations in one of the classrooms of 3MIB and continued in a hands-on manner at the training area in the barracks “Kuzman Josifovski-Pitu”. In the course of the training, the following topics and contents were covered: formations, movement and carrying weapons in urban environment techniques, entrenchments, fire positions and movement under fire in urban area, patrolling on foot and in vehicles, reaction to contact and other activities.
The above mentioned topics were followed with great interest by the 3MIB and 4MIB members who completely participated in the training which resulted in enhancing the current knowledge and completion of an additional successfully carried out activity.
