In agreement with the annual training plan, from 1 to 5 July, members of the Recce Platoon, Second Infantry Battalion (2nd InfBn) of the First Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde) had Training in Summer Conditions at the Water Training Camp in Ohrid.
Main goal of this training was to drill the personnel to perform vital combat tasks, reconnaissance, and tasks in the domain of operations and actions on water. Furthermore, to enable the service personnel to acquire new skills through tactics, techniques and procedures used when organizing and conducting tasks in and under water; to learn swimming techniques; to provide First Aid to a drowning person; to overcome water obstacles with the help of formation equipment ,vessels and other.
Members of the 2nd InfBn demonstrated high level of interest, commitment and psycho-physical readiness in carrying out tasks on water surfaces throughout the territory of our country, when required. They gained the necessary level of self-esteem in executing various operations on different water surfaces and confidence when working in deep and shallow waters, as well as in using vessels.
