In the period from 06.03 to 10.03.2023, in the “Mirche Acev” barracks in Prilep, in the premises of the Artillery Battalion and at the shooting range “Lekovo”, training and exchange of experiences in the field of artillery was carried out.
During the training, the personnel from the Artillery Battalion and the other artillery personnel from the infantry battalions of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1stIBde) and the Reconnaissance Intelligence Battalion theoretically upgraded and improved their skills through presentations, discussions and exchange of personal experiences. At the end of the training, practice shooting with a 105 mm howitzer with an inserted 20 mm barrel was carried out at the “Lekovo” shooting range.
Forward Observer Training provides great opportunity for renewing old and gaining new experiences, as well as an opportunity to overcome the challenges they face while performing their duties in the area of artillery, thus the aim of this several-day training was met.
