On March 11, the Day of the Reserve Forces Command was marked in barracks “Straso Pindzur” in garrison Petrovec, in accordance with the measures for prevention from COVID-19.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff on the Operations Command (OC), Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski and the commanders of the units in garrison Petrovec.
In his address, the Commander of the Reserve Forces, Colonel Kiro Kalkov stated that they are proud to carry the traditions of this event from the recent history of the Macedonian people, when on March 11, 1992 the national flag was first raised on the state border at the watchtower “Ramna Niva, in Kriva Palanka, thus completing the territorial integrity of our country and marking the creation of the Army.
The Chief of Staff of the OC, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski noted that the Reserve Forces Command is of particular importance in the development and formation of the units of the Army, in the area of active and general reserve.
On the occasion of the Day of the Unit, incentives were given to the members of the unit for the results of their work and congratulation notes were read as well.
