On March 17, 2023, with a one-minute silence and laying of fresh flowers, commemoration for Ssgt1class Dragancho Ilievski (Chonto), a member of the Air Force WING who lost his life in the helicopter crash that happened twenty-two years ago on Popova Shapka, was held.
In his honor a speech was given to the lined up members of the unit and evergreen trees were planted in front of the Helicopter Squadron Command.
