On this occasion, delegations from the Army and a delegation of the Union of Fighters of the Municipality of Kichevo laid fresh flowers in front of the bust of the national hero Chede Filipovski – Dame which is located in the Alley of the Greats in the barracks.
The Commander of the 1st Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Zoranche Ristovski in his speech, spoke about the life and the rich military and political career of the national hero Chede Filipovski – Dame, the man who always fought for justice and freedom for his people, and he also said to remember the past with gratitude, to live the present with enthusiasm for a better future.
The Patron Day was attended by the Deputy Commander of the 1st IBde, Colonel Stevan Naumoski, accompanied by personnel from the command and staff of the brigade.
Celebrating this day and remembering the victims, we continue the traditions of our past with respect and gratitude, we bow to the national hero Chede Filipovski – Dame and it is our responsibility to remain in the memory of the future generations.
