In accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2023, the Defense Attaché of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Walker, made an official visit to the commander of the Military Police Battalion (MPBn), Lieutenant Colonel Nedzjati Golak, at the barracks “Ilinden” in Skopje. The purpose of this visit is to deepen cooperation on a tactical level.
During the visit, they discussed the possibilities for future cooperation in the area of the MPBn functionality, occasional working visits of the key personnel, military-police training on important topics with an emphasis on tactical-technical procedures in restoring public peace and order, as well as the implementation of joint exercises in accordance with the Military Police standard operating procedures.
Experiences and proposals for further development and promotion of joint activities between the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom and the MPBn were exchanged during the visit.
