In the Military Barracks “NH Strasho Pindjur” – Petrovec, there was a celebration of its Patron’s Day, named after the national hero from the National Liberation Movement, Strasho Pindjur. On this day, 81 years ago, the national hero Strasho Pindjur got killed in a battle. He was one of the first fighters named as a national hero on the 29th July 1945. He spent his life fighting during those revolutionary days, and his exceptional effort will always be remembered.
There were a few delegations who laid fresh flowers at his memorial including, a delegation from the Operations Command, the 1st Infantry Brigade Command, Air Force WING Command, as well as representatives of the Kavadraci municipality and the Museum of Kavadarci.
Afterwards, a representative of the Museum of Kavadarci gave a speech about our national hero, Strasho Pindjur, about his life and his contributions to our country’s history.
