Members of the Military Police Battalion (MPBn) carried out Swimming and Water Training in summer conditions, from 1 to 15 July, at the Water Training Camp in Ohrid.
Main goal of this training in summer conditions is to enable the personnel to organize life and work of the unit in difficult conditions, training, performance of combat duties and tasks in the domain of Military Police in summer conditions in water, as well as to train and enable them to acquire swimming techniques, rowing techniques and overcome water obstacles with supplementary and formation equipment.
Additionally, training in swimming in uniform while carrying a rifle, swimming assisted by extra equipment for transferring people and personal weapon from point A to point B in water, saving a drowning person and providing first aid – resuscitating the same, as well as, securing high-ranking military leaders on land (before embarking a vessel) and securing the vessel.
As always, members of the MPBn, acting professionally and responsibly, successfully coped with the training.
