The Defense Attachés Association visited the First Infantry Brigade

Today, a delegation from the Defense Attachés Association (DAA) from several countries accredited to the Republic of North Macedonia visited the Command of the First Infantry Brigade (1^st InfBde). After being welcomed by the commander of the 1^st InfBde Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and the HQ personnel, a briefing was held, to familiarize the delegation with the history, the mission, the organizational-formation structure, the equipment, the location of the subordinate units, the training grounds, the future activities, and the modernization process of the Brigade. The DAA delegation visited the memorial room in the 1^st InfBde Command as part of the tour.

During the visit, the members of the 2^nd Infantry Battalion (2^nd InfBn) and the Engineer Battalion (EngrBn) carried out a tactical exercise on the topic: “Light infantry platoon conducting specific task”, with which the personnel demonstrated high professionalism and training.

The DAA tour is a regular annual activity based on the Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Defense with the DAA in the country.
