The visit is a regular annual activity as part of the Cooperation program between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia and the Defense Attaches Association in Macedonia.
The Defense Attaches were informed about the structure, the mission, and the tasks of the army, their future challenges and other issues which were of their interest and which are in the area of responsibility of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
Afterwards, the Attaches visited the refugee transit camp of Vinojug in Gevgelija and the border watchtower Bogorodica. They were informed about the mission of the Task Force South, as well as about the army standard procedures when dealing with refugees.
