Today, a team from the Embassy and the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom (UK) visited the Command and Staff of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde). The guests were welcomed by the 1st Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski. During the visit, a briefing was held about the unit, the priorities and tasks to be achieved in the future, as well as the cooperation with the UK teams so far.
At the end of the meeting, General Chiplakovski expressed his gratitude for the good cooperation with the UK representatives, which is especially present in the training and courses in which members of the 1st Infantry Brigade and the Army participate.
In the course of the day, the team from the Embassy and the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom (UK) also visited the Military Police Battalion (MPBn). The guests were welcomed by the Commander of the Military Police Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Stankovski, and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the unit and the priority tasks that need to be achieved in the following period. The Commander of the Military Police thanked the UK representatives for the fruitful cooperation, which is particularly executed through the training and courses in which members of the Military Police Battalion participate. During both visits, the need for continued successful cooperation with the Armed Forces of the UK was emphasized, especially in the process of training and conducting future exercises in which members of the First Infantry Brigade and members of the Military Police Battalion will participate.
