Today, at the military barracks “NH Strasho Pindjur” in Petrovec, there was an official military ceremony for duty handover of the Transport Helicopter Squadron (THS) Commander.
The outgoing Commander Lieutenant Colonel Igorcho Stoimenovski will continue his career as Deputy Commander of the Air Force WING, whereas the incoming Commander Lieutenant Kire Bodanovski was Deputy THS Commander.
The Commander of the Air Force WING, Colonel Stojko Pejovski, addressed the audience and commended on the outgoing Commander’s successful and experienced leadership of the squadron which resulted in receiving the Medal of Merit, presented by the President of the Republic of North Macedonia. Furthermore, he wished the incoming Commander success in his work and more achievements in the process of NATO integration of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The outgoing Commander of THS expressed his gratitude for having the Squadron personnel’s support and skillful professionalism, while doing his job. In addition, he wished the incoming Commander success in his future appointment.
The incoming Commander said he is privileged to assume command of THS, which is a pillar of the Air Force in the Army.
