Today, at military barracks ‘Chojlija’, Petrovec garrison, members of the Tank Battalion, part of 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde), under the circumstances where members of the Army are engaged in support of the government institutions in suppressing the spread of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and following all the measures and recommendations in dealing with the pandemic, they marked 19 years since the death of their members in the conflict of 2001.
The day when Captain Sinisha Stoilov and professional soldier Fejzo Dzeljadinovski lost their lives was marked with laying fresh flowers before the commemorative plaque in the barracks ‘Chojlija’ by the delegation of the 1st Infantry Brigade, the Tank Battalion and the family members of the killed.
The Tank Battalion Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Stojanovski in his speech, among other things, stressed that commemorating their members who lost their lives defending their homeland, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, is an obligation which the members of the Tank Battalion and the Army feel they owe their colleagues.
They are proud to have such brave, bold and consistent colleagues and comrade-in-arms, whom they will always remember.
