At the invitation of the Commander of the Joint Special Operations of the Republic of Greece, Major General Georgios Tsitsikostas, the Commander of the Operations Command, Major General Pavle Arsoski, in the period 29-30.10.2020 attended the closing ceremony of the parachute training in Athens, Greece. This event was also attended by 27 members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Within the same, a Technical Agreement for cooperation in exercise activities was signed between the special operations forces of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Greece. Emphasizing the successful joint trainings so far as well as the ongoing trainings (combat diving training, basic parachuting training, parachuting training, MTT “Sweet water diving training”, “Joint Special Ops Forces Training” – JSFT,) the Greek side referred invitation to participate in the activity which is a great opportunity to agree on new forms and contents of cooperation in the field of special forces.
Participation in these international trainings plays an important role in strengthening mutual security. Members of the Army exchanged experiences between the participating armies of different countries through joint execution of the set tasks during the realization of the mentioned training.
