From October 29 to 31, a preparation workshop for the international exercise “Immediate Response 25” was held at the Operations Command in Kumanovo. The workshop involved representatives from the subordinate commands and units of the General Staff of the Army and the Operations Command.
The exercise, scheduled to take place in the Republic of North Macedonia from May 25 to June 9 next year, is part of the “Defender 25” series of exercises organized by the U.S. Armed Forces. It will include approximately 2,000 participants from the United States, Greece, Austria, Italy, Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo.
The exercise will serve as an opportunity to prepare the Army’s capability goals, with the participation of the Light Infantry Battalion Group, declared as a NATO unit.
