A planning workshop was held from 16 to 20 March 2025, at the “Boro Menkov” barracks in Kumanovo. The focus of the workshop was drafting the order for the organization of the exercise Immediate Response 25.
At the opening of the workshop, the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, in the presence of representatives from the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) at the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia and workshop participants, emphasized the importance of the exercise.
The requirements for realistic logistics support, force protection, as well as planning of the opening and closing ceremonies, and the arrangements for the Distinguished Visitors Day, which will take place at the Army Training Area “Krivolak”, were discussed.
The exercise will be conducted from 25 May to 9 June, in the Republic of North Macedonia, with the participation of approximately 2,000 service personnel from the armed forces of the United States, Albania, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Austria, and Kosovo.
