At barracks “Kuzman Josifovski- Pitu” in Tetovo, the Deputy Defence Attaché of the Republic of Turkey, Major Göktük Güngör, visited the 3rd Infantry Battalion (3InfBn), of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1InfBde), He was welcomed by the commander of the 3InfBn, Lieutenant Colonel Ejupi Izeir, and the commanding personnel of the Command and Staff of 3InfBn.
The aim of the visit was army cooperation and exchange of commanding officers between the armies, i.e. a captain of the Turkish Army, was temporarily assigned to the unit from 2 to 15.12.2019, as a commander of the 1st Infantry Company in the Battalion, and at the same time and on the same post a captain from 3InfBn, was assigned to the Turkish army.
During the visit experiences were exchanged about accommodation, training and daily tasks in both armies. Exchange of commanders is a common activity between the two armies and it will continue in the future.
