In the period from 15th to 19th November, 2021, at the Training Camp “Pepelishte” a workshop for making the concept of operations “CONOPS” for the “Flash 22” exercise (F 22) was held.
At the opening of the workshop, the director of the exercise Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Sumracki emphasized the importance of the documents for the exercise, within which there will be an evaluation of the declared Light Infantry Battalion (LIBn) in accordance with the Standards for evaluation of the combat readiness of NATO (CREVAL).
The following documents were prepared during the workshop:
- Review of the documents from the strategic initiation;
- Mission analysis;
- Options for military response;
- Decision of the Commander of the Joint Task Force;
- Identification of the personnel for Exerice Control (EXCON);
- Identification of the Main Events Lists;
- Identification of the requirements of the Army commands and units that support the exercise;
- Identification of the tasks and determining time limits for the primary and secondary training units.
Logistics personnel, part of the exercise, conducted a reconnaissance in order to establish the actual accommodation capacities for the personnel that will participate in the exercise.
The planning process of the “Flash 22” exercise will continue in December with realization of the Main Planning Conference for the exercise.
