According to the 2025 bilateral cooperation plan between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Türkiye, the Air Force VING (AF VING) hosted an event named “Staff Talks in the Field of Aviation with a delegation from the Air Force of the Republic of Türkiye” from 6 to 10 October 2025. The delegation from the Turkish Air Force was led by Brigadier General Erol Gökmen, who held a working meeting with the Commander of the AF VING, Colonel Dragan Pavlovski, and the professional service personnel of the AF VING headquarters.
During the meeting, the Turkish delegation and the Macedonian representatives discussed the current military cooperation between the two countries, reviewed the activities carried out so far, and identified areas with potential for further cooperation. Special attention was given to future joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the partnership and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of aviation.
The visit is part of the continuous efforts of the AF VING to develop and enhance cooperation with international defense partners.
