On June 5th at the barracks “Kuzman Josifovski Pitu” in Tetovo with a military ceremony were marked thirteenth years since members from the garrison in Tetovo lost their lives in the military conflict in 2001, in the region of the village Gayre.
At the ceremony, before the units, the commander of the 3rd MIB gave a speech appropriate to the occasion. Afterwards, a delegation led by the commander of the First Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Paul Arsoski, as well as relatives and friends of the deceased laid fresh flowers at the memorial.
On this occasion, delegations from the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion from Tetovo laid fresh flowers at the cemetery in Bitola and Kavadarci.
By this honoring, members of the Army once again paid tribute to the fallen members for their courage, selflessness and sacrifice, paid tribute to the people who selflessly laid their lives for the defense of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of their country Macedonia.
