From 23rd to 27th September, 2019 members of the Artillery Battalion of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (MIBde) carried out static camping and artillery live firing (ALF) at ATA ‘Krivolak’.
During camping at ATA ‘Krivolak’ one could notice excellent drill and readiness of the unit on terrain, demonstrated through successful ALF with a multiple rocket launcher (MRL 128 mm) and ALF with howitzer 105 mm with inserted 20 mm gun.
Joint Operations Command deputy commander, Brigadier General Orce Jordev and the 1st MIBde commander Besnik Emini attended the live firing exercise.
Executing this type of firing requires excellent drill and speed in order the crew to destroy the aims, it requires high level of training, great fitness and coordination, which was practically shown by the Artillery Battalion during the firing with accurate shots at the aims.
