The traditional marking of the Day of the Reserve Officers of the Republic of North Macedonia is organized by a fitness-educational march in the Tetovo region: village Leshok, Monastery “St. Atanasij” – village Varvara, Monastery “St. Petka” with the length of 4 km in both directions.
This one-day training was attended by about 60 reserve officers and non-commissioned officers from 5 LOU of ORORM (Skopje, Tetovo, Prilep, Kicevo and Demir Hisar) and the representatives of the Reserve Forces Command, Colonel Nedjat Limani and Colonel Tomislav Rizoski.
The starting point of the training was village Leshok, the Monastery “St. Atanasij” where the president of the local organizational unit of ORORM, Zoran Kiroski welcomed the participants of the march and introduced them to the procedure for successful and safe completion of the march.
The participants of the march were also welcomed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Tearce, Isen Asani. Abbot Teodosij talked about the cultural and historical importance of the Monastery.
When the participants arrived at the Monastery “St. Petka” in the village Varvara, the head of the working group of ORORM, Ljupcho Vuksanov informed them about the past and upcoming activities of ORORM in our country and internationally, as well as about the cooperation with the MoD and GS of the Army.
Then, Dr. Goce Georgiev informed the participants of the march about the international activities in the Republic of Slovenia, in Polche/Bled, about the bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Slovenia and Italy and the meeting of the GAMINGER Initiative.
