On occasion of the twenty years of membership of Poland in the NATO Alliance and fifteen years membership in the European Union, invited by the defense minister of Poland, the army represented by the members of the 4th mechanized infantry battalion (4.mib) from the 1st mechanized infantry brigade (1.mibr) participated at the main ceremony.
At the military parade, which took place on the Wislostrada Street in the center of the capital city of Poland, Warsaw where 35 countries were present. The members of the 4 mib. were applauded when they marched and represented our country with dignity. Our flag equally with the others countries sauntered along the streets of Warsaw and it was a huge honor to be in structure with the other armies, members of NATO.
This ceremony was followed by huge number of citizens, NATO alliance members, as well as the Polish state representatives headed by the president of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda. The Polish defense minister, Mr. Antoni Macierewicz handed to the members of the 4.mib a plaque for participation of the Army to the military parade.
