On 16 November 2025, the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Battalion personnel, upon the invitation of the mountaineering club “I Love Hiking Group,” took part in the organized ascent of Mount Ljuboten (2,499 meters).
Once again, the Army demonstrated its readiness to contribute to and take part in initiatives that encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness.
The hiking route began in the village of Staro Selo, municipality of Jegunovce, and continued to the peak of Ljuboten, with a total length of approximately 24 kilometers in both directions.
The Army will continue to support activities that enhance cooperation with the civilian sector and contribute to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
