As always when it comes to eco-actions for the greater good of all citizens, the members of the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (3MIBn), part of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1MIBde), in cooperation with the local self-government of Tetovo took part in this action against air pollution which started in organization of the Ministry of Defence.
In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Defence, the mayor of the Municipality of Tetovo and representatives of the community in Tetovo, the members of the 3MIBn in coordination with the Public Utility Company – Tetovo in Tetovo planted 85 evergreen trees and enriched the green area at the place called “Banjiche”, near the hydro power plant at the river Pena.
The eco-action will also continue next week when the members of the Army in the garrison Kicevo will participate in planting trees near this area.
