In accordance with the annual plan for training of the Military Police Battalion (MPBn) for 2019, the key service personnel of the Command and Staff of the Military Police Battalion conducted a Map-reading Skills Exercise from 9th to 11th of April, 2019 at the TC Pepelishte.
The aim of the exercise was to drill, revise and upgrade military skills of the Military Police Battalion service personnel. The topics which were covered included, military decision making process, map demonstration of operational situation, team work in decision making, exchanging of lessons learned and etc.
At the Map-reading Skills Exercise, the MPBn service personnel had to accomplish a tactical task based on a certain supposition, including complete analysis of the steps of the decision making process as well as conducting reconnaissance of key terrain by the Commanders.
The analysis after the completion of the exercise showed that the aim of the exercise was achieved. The exercise participants demonstrated high level of professionalism, motivation, training and excellent team work.
