Over the last period, US Army instructors together with Engineer Battalion (EngBn) members successfully conducted training for the motorized armoured mobile vehicle for locating mines and metal detection – Husky VMMD – Vehicle-Mounted Mine Detection at the military barracks ,,Chojlija“.
During the training, EngBn members enhanced their knowledge, in theory and practice, in driving the vehicle on different terrain and performing complex tasks.
In attendance of the Commander of the 1stInfBde, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and the Commander of the EngBn Lieutenant Colonel Ilcho Zakovki, the instructors for driving the vehicle awarded certificates to the personnel that showed motivation for upgrading their knowledge in operating the HUSKY system.
The HUSKY vehicle significantly improved the combat readiness of the EngBn in completing tasks as support during realization of different tasks.
