Today, the members of the Joint Operations Command (JOC), led by the JOC Commander, Major General Pavle Arsoski, actively participated in the afforestation action organized by the Public Company “Cistota i zelenilo“-Kumanovo.
In coordination with the representatives of the Public Company “Cistota i zelenilo“ – Kumanovo, the JOC personnel was engaged in planting trees at the location “Dashtev Rid” in Kumanovo in order to increase the green area, as well as to raise the environmental awareness.
The afforestation action today lasted for about four hours. That was the time it took to plant all the planned trees after the soil was previously prepared by the Public Company.
By taking part in this action, the members of JOC contribute to increasing the green area as well as to reducing the consequences of floods, rockslides and landslides.
