The Chief of the Army’s General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski met with the resident Defense Attaché of the US to the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Daniel Squires, which is the first official meeting after being appointed the Chief of the General Staff.
At the meeting, they discussed the activities that are part of the bilateral military cooperation, implemented through a large number of joint training activities, the support in the development of our military capacities in order to achieve NATO capability goals, as well as the cooperation within the NATO Alliance.
The significance of the assistance and support provided by the US Armed Forces to the Army units, as well as the support in the field of military education, was emphasized, and a commitment to further cooperation was expressed.
