Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, held an official meeting with the Defense Attaché of the United Kingdom, Colonel Jonathan Williamson and the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Daniel Fieller.
During the meeting, General Lafchiski emphasized the importance of the joint cooperation with the United Kingdom, highlighting the support that this country provides in the processes of developing the Army’s capabilities and in the field of the professional development of the Army personnel at the high military educational institutions in the United Kingdom.
On this occasion, General Lafchiski expressed his belief that the bilateral partnership will continue with undiminished intensity, especially in the area of the joint training and exercises.
Colonel Williamson performs his duty from Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, where he is appointed as the Defense Attaché of the United Kingdom. Additionally, with the departure of the UK Defense Attaché to our country, Lieutenant Colonel John Edward Green, and until a new attaché is appointed, he will also carry out the duty of Defense Attaché of the United Kingdom to our country.
