The Military Orchestra and a delegation from the Army led by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski participated in the event commemorating the 79th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Tetovo – November 19, at an invitation of the municipal organization of the Union of Freedom Fighters from Tetovo and the supporting citizens,
At the event held at the “Iljo Anteski – Smok” Culture Center, the Military Orchestra had a remarkable performance with songs from its repertoire.
Musical, dance and stage performances were also conducted by a ballet group from the music and ballet school “Ilia Nikolovski – Luj – Skopje, vocal performers Andriana Janevska and Vlatko Lozanovski, Zoran Grkovski and Ana Petrovska on saxophone and piano, the town women’s choir Menada and the Flying Theater Troupe with an appropriate play.
The army, as the bearer of the traditions of the National Liberation Army, maintains excellent military cooperation with the Unions of Freedom Fighters from the towns throughout the country and actively participates in events that are held in memory of important events from the Macedonian history.
