Today (27/03/2014 ) into a working visit to the Special Operations Regiment ( SOR ) was HE Ernesto Massimino Bellelli Ambassador of the Italian Republic in the Republic of Macedonia and Defense Attaché of the Italian Republic in the Republic of Macedonia , Colonel Luciano Palcani.
Guests were welcomed and greeted by Regiment Commander Brigadier General Vasco Gjurcinovski along with the commanders of battalions, followed by a briefing where was presented unit ‘s mission, structure, equipment, experience gained from missions where the unit participated and more. The visits continued with a tour of tactical technical word were arms and equipment used by the unit was exposed. For the guests display exercises was organized “Work procedures on check point” and demonstration of the use of multifunctional – climbing tower.” At the end of the visit the unit has demonstrated a demonstration exercise “Providing protection for high-ranking military officers.”
In conversation with Commander guest expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting the high level of preparedness that was demonstrated by members of the Regiment.
