Today, 24 February 2014 at the barracks “Ilinden”, organized by the Special Operations Regiment (SOR) realized blood donor action on the occasion of the anniversary “20 years of special operations forces”.
Members of the regiment, as always in large number joined the blood donor action and collected 80 units of blood. Traditionally, for several years SOR realized blood donor actions. Such actions are in cooperation with the Institute for Transfusion Medicine, Medical Faculty Skopje Red Cross – Chair and organized three times a year, in March, on the occasion of the unit day, in April to mark the commemoration of the dead ARM members in Vejce and in August on the occasion of the Army Day.
Humanity is one of the features that adorn every member of the Army and members of the Special Operations Regiment. Fact that a given blood will save someone’s life is sufficient motivation and incentive to further precede with such actions.
