Today, 13.08.2015 in the barracks “Ilinden” voluntary blood donation action was realized on the occasion of the Army Day – 18th August.
In this blood donating action besides the members of the Special Operations Regiment, contribution with there humanity showed and members of units that are deployed in the barracks.
The activity was organized in collaboration with the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia and the Institute for Transfusion Medicine – Skopje. During the voluntary donation of blood 92 blood units were collected.
Considering the fact that every single blood unit can save three lives, it can freely be said that this action was successful.
