Today, 7 November, Thursday, the NATO Advisory Team in Macedonia paid a visit to the Special Operations Regiment.
The five-member NATO Advisory Team was headed by Colonel Aleksandar Aleksandrov and was welcomed by Colonel Vasko Gjurchinovski – Commander of the Special Operations Regiment and the inner part of the command. At the beginning of the visit the guests were presented with the unit’s mission and basic duties. After the presentation, the guests took the opportunity to visit the tactical combat course on dealing with casualties that took place in the “Ilinden” barracks with instructors from the U.S. Special Forces.
At the end of the visit the NATO Advisory Team representatives expressed particular satisfaction with the excellent organization and the level of professionalism involved in the unit’s approach to performing its duties.
