On 19 February, in barracks “Ilinden” a lecture was held to mark 70 years since The February raid.
The lecture was held by retired general Lieutenant Todor Atanasovski president of the Main Board of the Union of Fighters of the Liberation War of Macedonia. The lecture was attended by about 100 members of all units deployed in the barracks.
The present participants were able to learn about the historical and military significance that have been targets of the February raid, and the hostilities that developed their forms. The February campaign is one of the most important military tactical operations during the National Liberation War in the Second World War. The February campaign especially with so-called spring offensive was made larger geographic units of liberated areas.
