From the middle of January until the beginning of March on the slopes of Mavrovo, members of special operations regiment will realize winter conditions training.
During the training topics that will be realized are: design of the facilities for stay in winter conditions, tactical procedures with usage of skis, small-caliber rifle shooting practices, camouflage in winter conditions, etc. During the training members of the regiment were visited by the Chief of the GS of the ARM General Lieutenant Colonel Gorančo Koteski.
Objective of the winter conditions training is to maintain combat readiness of the unit on the execution of tasks in all types of weather and climate conditions, to be professional, technically supported and psychologically prepared for life and work in mountain conditions and extremely low temperatures.
