In the period from 23 until 12.25.2014, the members of the ranger battalion within the special operations regiment realized first Ranger games.
The main goal of the games was to raise the sport and competitive spirit by demonstrating high tactical knowledge and excellent fitness readiness. Participation in these games took top five members of each company of the Ranger Battalion. The teams competed in the following disciplines: crawling and bringing injured solder, throwing hand grenade, firing with automatic and sniper rifle, pistol, disassembly and assembly of armaments, orientation on unfamiliar terrain and overcome obstacles for durability.
In the games, which took place on land in barracks “Ilinden” and the shooting range „Stenkovec“ each participant competed to bear the title of Best Ranger and best company in the Ranger Battalion in 2014.
The first ranger games are realized successfully and intention is that these games become traditional.
