From 9 to 16.04.2019 forty members of the Ranger Battalion, of the Special Operations Regiment conducted summer alpine climbing training.
The training took place at the terrain and alpine climbing routes in the area of Demir Kapija. The aim of the training was maintaining and improving the alpine climbing skills of the member of the unit.
The eight-day training was comprehensive and at the same time different topics were covered ranging from tying basic knots and climbing equipment, to complex exercises for overcoming challenging terrain areas using climbing equipment in day and night conditions.
Rangers always aim to be at the highest level of readiness thus continual trainings are of great importance for the unit.
