Today, 11.06.2015, in the barracks “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” – Veles was held a military ceremony at which the twenty-seventh generation of soldiers on voluntary military service took a solemn oath. This generation consists of 139 soldiers, 14 of whom are female.
On the occasion of the ceremony, the oath was attended by: State Secretary of MoD, Mrs. Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, Director of ARM General Staff, General Major Dimche Petrovski, representatives of commands and units of the Army, representatives of the local self-government, representatives of the religious communities, relatives of soldiers and other guests.
In their address, the Sate Secretary of MoD, Mrs. Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova and the Director of ARM General Staff, General Major Dimche Petrovski congratulated the troops, wishing them success in the training within ARM ranks.
They also said that the military profession is a challenge, honour and pride for the young person and their task is to learn as much as possible of the secrets of the military art. Among other things, it was noted that so far many of the soldiers who undergone training at the Centre for Individual Training have chosen this profession and are already serving in the Army of Republic of Macedonia.
Colonel Ljubencho Petrovski, Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command, in his address said that the soldiers in the next period are faced with hard work in overcoming the planned content of the training.
The soldiers in the next three months will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that will be one of the key elements for those who choose military profession as a solution for their future.
