Today, the members of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) marked the Patron’s Day of the barracks “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman”.
To mark the occasion, a delegation from TRADOC, together with representatives of institutions from the Municipality of Veles, laid fresh flowers at the bust of Alekso Demnievski – Bauman located inside the barracks, as well as at his bust in the city. In his address, TRADOC Commander, Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini recalled the rich military legacy of Alekso Demnievski – Bauman. He emphasized that today, as we serve in the barracks bearing his name, we should remember his unyielding spirit and his fight for freedom as a guiding light for our dedication, for safeguarding what has already been achieved, and for striving towards even greater results. “May his name remain an everlasting source of inspiration for us, for future generations, and for all those who believe in freedom, justice, and human dignity”.
The commemoration also featured a presentation about the life and work of Alekso Demnievski – Bauman, delivered by a student from the primary school “Vasil Glavinov” in Veles, along with display of personal biographical documents entrusted to the barracks.
The event ended with a performance by the cultural and artistic association “Kole Nedelkovski” from Veles.
