The members of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and its subordinate units marked 5th of June – World Day of Environment Protection by carrying out cleaning and landscaping activities in the barracks.
The landscaping of different areas was conducted in all barracks of TRADOC units encompassing the inside area and along the fences of the barracks. The cleaning activity in the barracks “Alekso Demnievski-Bauman” was conducted by all members of TRADOC who work there.
By taking part in the marking of the world day of environment protection the members of TRADOC, this year, as the years before, gave their contribution to environment protection by cleaning and landscaping the barracks area. The contribution was given in a direct way by gathering a large amount of non biodegradable plastic waste and in an indirect way by raising the awareness of the local population for the responsibility we have in protecting our environment.
TRADOC members with this activity have shown a high level of awareness and dedication in protecting the environment where they live and work, and they will continue to protect the environment of their workplace, as well as the environment in the country as its citizens.
