On June 4, 2024, Lieutenant General Scott Spellmon and Brigadier General John Lloyd from the United States Armed Forces visited ATA “Krivolak as part of the exercise “Resolute Castle 24”. The activity was also attended by the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Besnik Emini, Commander of the First Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski.
The purpose of the visit was a tour of the projects being implemented at ATA “Krivolak” by the US Armed Forces and the members of the Engineers Battalion of the First Infantry Brigade, as part of the activities of the exercise “Resolute Castle 24”, together with the Engineers units from the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command.
During the visit the delegation had the opportunity to see some of the activities carried out so far, as part of the exercise, including: modernization of warehouses for storing targets, a concrete platform, a washing pad, upgrading and correction of the existing flight landing stations, park for technical assets, road routes and other in accordance with the activities of the exercise, with the aim of upgrading the already existing and new capacities of ATA “Krivolak”.
