Today, the newly appointed advisor of the Armed Forces of UK to the Ministry of Defence and the Army, Brigadier General Hugh Lloyd Jones visited the Training and Doctrine Command.
During the visit, the Commander of TRADOC, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev and part of the staff, acquainted General Jones with the mission, the capacities, the equipment and the activities, as well as with the challenges for further development and upgrade of the Simulations Centre.
Brigadier General Jones visited the Simulations Centre, where a computer simulated exercise is taking place with the simulation platform JCATS (Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation), where personnel from the units of the First Mechanized Infantry Brigade are exercising a scenario of artillery battalion supporting armored mechanized units in defence.
The visits by the General Jones as a military advisor representing the UK are based on the bilateral agreement and the excellent cooperation with the Armed Forces of UK in order to provide help during the transformation of the Army.
