At the military barracks “Goce Delchev” in Skopje there was a Change of Command ceremony in the Cadets Training Center (CTC), within the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). The outgoing Commander of CTC, Lieutenant Colonel Nexhati Golak handed over the duty to the incoming Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Shutevski. In his career, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Shutevski has performed many command and stuff duties, and the appointment he is coming from is the Chief of the Department for Operations and Planning in the Simulation Center within TRADOC.
The Commander of TRADOC, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski, addressed the guests at the ceremony and congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Nexhati Golak for his contribution and leadership of the unit, for building up the capacities of CTC which is a place where constant input in education of future officers is needed. Additionally, he wished the incoming Commander success in his work to achieve set goals, recommending him to be a committed, demanding and creative leader when dealing with all challenges.
When the outgoing Commander of CTC addressed the audience he thanked the Commander for his trust to do this job. In addition, he thanked the personnel who worked with him for their trust and selfless effort when performing their duties while building up and improving the life and work of the unit, which is a long term process full of many challenges.
The incoming Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Shutevski, in his speech, thanked the Commander for having been given the trust to be the Commander of CTC. Moreover, he said that he would use all his vast experience in order to accomplish the determined goals of the unit to reach even better results in the future.
At the end of the ceremony there was a handover of the unit’s flag from the outgoing to the incoming Commander of the Cadets Training Center.
