The beginning of the basic military training, for this year’s first group of candidates, was marked with a military ceremony at the Training and Doctrine Command at barracks “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” in Veles. Hundred and twenty members, of whom four are women, from different units of the Army, will attend the Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Lulzim Nuredini, who encouraged the candidates to complete all the activities of this course with dedication and maximum effort, which will help them to become highly motivated and physically prepared non- commissioned officers of the Army.
During the course the candidates will have the opportunity to be trained in different combat tasks in accordance with the standard operating procedures, which are essential for successful accomplishment of the mission. Additionally, they will get acquainted with the training management system and the leadership as the most fundamental element of the combat power of the Army.
As a part of the process for continuous education and the implementation of the professional development programme for professional soldiers, this course will result in shaping new experienced non-commissioned officers.
This Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course is designed according to the preset standards for education of this profile of service personnel of NATO member countries. The concept of professional development of professional soldiers of the Army defines them not only as newly trained non-commissioned officers but also competent instructors with developed leadership skills, capable to lead their subordinates in executing the mission.
