11 March, the Day of the Reserve Forces Centre in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) was marked today in the barracks “Strasho Pindzur” in Petrovec.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of TRADOC, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski, commanders of the Army units and previous members of the Reserve Forces Centre.
In his address, the Commander of the unit, Colonel Kiro Kalkov pointed out that the future of our defence is in creating a small, mobile and efficient force which will be capable of dealing with the challenges of the modern time, and the focus of the centre will be directed to the process of creating the reserve forces and all potentials will be directed to completing the set tasks and obligations.
In his speech, the Commander of TRADOC, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski congratulated them on the achieved results in the transformation process and wished them good health and success in their future tasks.
On the occasion of the Day of the Unit, incentives were awarded to the members of the unit for their achieved results and messages of congratulations for the Day of the Unit were read.
11 March is designated as the Day of the Reserve Forces of the Army, as the date which marks the taking over of the first watchtower “Ramna Niva” in Kriva Palanka.
