Today’s exercise on the ATA “Krivolak” marked the end of the Platoon Commander Course which was carried out during the previous month with the 3rd and 4th year cadets from the Cadets Training Center (CTC) within the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).
The ceremony for the end of the course was attended by Generals Zoran Mileski, Gorancho Kotevski, Orce Jordev and the Dean of the Military Academy.
TRADOC Commander, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev wished the training participants a successful future career and development of the leadership abilities while they face real situations, many awards and practical use of the theoretically achieved knowledge, self-confidence and terrain work which is necessary for every future, modern and well-trained officer in the Army.
The practical training and work have an important role in the process of preparing the cadets for their duties in the units of the Army. During the training, the cadets completed the tasks successfully, they were introduced to the assets of the Army and had the opportunity to show their knowledge practically. At the end of the course they successfully carried out the exercise in which they presented a Mechanized Infantry Platoon in an attack.
The final exercise was also attended by the new cadets in order to see the real picture of the profession they chose and to have a clear vision for their role in the future education and development of their leadership abilities.
At the end of this camp training, the participants received certificates, which marked the completion of the Platoon Commander Course.
