Today, at the Training Area “Krivolak”, a few activities have been completed during the international military police exercise “Joint Reaction-17”. The goal of the activities is joint cooperation and exchange of experience and skills.
Firstly, there was a display of technical assets and equipment used by the armies of the participant countries. After the display, there were activities which demonstrated procedures when dealing with different problems and incidents and one of them was clearing a building conducted by the military police platoon from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the afternoon, the military police platoon from R. Albania will demonstrate VIP escort techniques, whereas, a platoon consisting of servicemen from the military police of R. Montenegro and the USA will demonstrate further tactics of clearing a building.
The exercise will last until 29th of September and its goal is to promote cooperation among military police units through joint accomplishment of designated tasks within A5 initiative, as well as sharing experience and skills in order to ensure interoperability of procedures of the servicemen of the armies taking part in the exercise.
